Cushioned Sole Flip-Flops

A layered sole solves the trade-off that a single-density foam cannot. A denser base layer resists the compression set and keeps the shape; a softer top layer sits against the foot and does the comfort. One piece of foam has to be one or the other.

This is the version to order when the pairs will be walked in rather than worn between a lounger and a pool. Staff footwear, resort guest use over a week, and anything that has to survive being worn every day are all different briefs from a one-day giveaway.

We will still say the honest thing: this is not a walking sandal and no flip-flop is. There is no heel retention, so the foot grips with the toes to keep it on, and that is fine for a short walk and not for a long one. If somebody needs a hiking sandal, they need a hiking sandal.
