Everybody has had a pair fail. Everybody has had the same pair fail.
Get Custom Flip Flops makes footwear to order — classic rubber pairs, full-colour printed straps, debossed footbeds, layered cushioned soles, poolside slides and age-banded kids sizes.

A flip-flop is a strap anchored through a sole. There is almost nothing else to it, which is why it fails in exactly one place: the toe post pulls out of the footbed and the pair is finished where it stands.
That happens when the post is glued into a blind hole instead of pulled all the way through the sole and heat-flared underneath. Turn a pair over and you can see which one you are holding, and it is the first thing we would check on anybody else’s sample.
The second thing nobody quotes is foam density. EVA takes a compression set, so a thick low-density footbed feels wonderful in the shop and is permanently flat by September.
Why we exist
This is a category sold on a photograph of a thick sole and judged on a moulding detail you cannot see in a photograph.
A glued toe post pulls out. A low-density footbed flattens and never comes back. A surface-printed strap crazes at the bend by the post, which flexes every single step. A flat sole on a wet tile is a genuine hazard. And an artwork laid out once runs off the ends of the smaller sizes. We build around all five, because those are the complaints, and none of them are visible on a product shot.
What we actually make
Classic pairs with the toe post pulled through and heat-flared under the sole. Full-colour sublimated straps laid out per size, so the design still fits the smallest pair. Footbeds debossed to a depth matched to the foam density. Layered soles with a dense base under a soft top, for pairs that get walked in. Poolside slides with no post at all and a tread patterned for wet tile. And kids sizes by age band, with a softer post and nothing detachable anywhere on them.
Everything is bagged in pairs with the size on the bag, because the person handing them out is never the person who ordered them.
What a flip-flop is not
It is not a walking sandal. There is no heel retention, so the foot grips with the toes to keep it on, and that is fine for a short walk on smooth ground and wrong for a long one. That is true of every flip-flop, including ours.
Foam is not arch support. A moulded contour in a footbed is a shape, not an orthotic, and we will not describe it as one.
And we will not call a flip-flop waterproof. It is true of every flip-flop ever made, which makes it a word rather than a specification.
How we price
No dollar figures on this site. Price moves with sole construction, foam density, branding method and quantity. Send the details and a real quote comes back the same day, with a lowest-price guarantee if you are already holding a cheaper one.
On specifying a pair
Tell us whether people will walk in them or wear them between a lounger and a pool, and give us your size spread. Those two answers decide the sole, and everything else is preference.
We hold your spec and your artwork, so the next season is one line of email.
